Course Description:The arts curriculum is designed to develop a range of essential skills in each of the arts: dance, drama, music, and the visual arts. These skills will be built on a solid foundation of knowledge of art concepts and will include creative, analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills. Using a variety of instructional, assessment, and evaluation strategies, instructors provide numerous hands-on opportunities for students to develop and refine their skills and knowledge in creating, presenting, performing, reflecting, analyzing, and responding in all of the arts.
